Net Zero North West strengthens network with two new members
Net Zero North West (NZNW) has welcomed Mace Consult and the West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce to its growing industrial network.
The two organisations bring expertise spanning infrastructure, energy and industrial programmes, alongside direct insight from businesses operating across West Cheshire and North Wales.
Building on our work with Mace Consult
Mace Consult joins NZNW following its work on the recently published Why Industry Matters report, which explored the role North West industry plays in supporting UK economic resilience, energy security and the clean energy transition.
The report highlighted the scale of the region’s industrial economy, with the North West contributing £270.8bn to the UK economy and generating £68.5bn in exports, while manufacturing alone supports 337,000 jobs.
With extensive experience across energy, infrastructure and industrial programmes, Mace Consult will bring additional expertise to the network and build on its existing work with NZNW.

Strengthening cross-border collaboration
The West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce also joins NZNW as the world’s only cross-border Chamber of Commerce.
Representing businesses across West Cheshire and North Wales, its membership will bring valuable insight from an area with strong industrial links to the wider North West and an important role to play in future investment and decarbonisation.

The new appointments further strengthen NZNW’s network of organisations working across industry, energy and infrastructure to support the North West’s transition to a competitive, lower-carbon economy.
